Dating sites for book lovers…

Jul 15

Once upon a time, long before the internet, book lovers had to actually lift their noses from their books at the exact same moment in time as another fellow bookworm did the same or perhaps bump into one another as we moseyed up the book store checkout.

“Excuse me!”

      “Sorry, I didn’t see you!”

“What book is that?”…

Not anymore. No, no, no… the internet has provided plenty a way for book lovers to share a love of books or moreover places to find a happily ever after with another bibliophile. Upon recommendation, I did a search on ‘book lovers dating site’ and I was amazed to find some! Places for single bookworms to mingle, to share their literary love AND to literally find their true love!

Yes! Book lover’s dating sites. What a novel idea!

BookRabbit is an online book community that dynamically connects readers, authors and publishers through the books they own. (UK)

According to,

Penguin said the site would offer readers “a place to meet and indulge in the age-old art of writing love letters”. Members will be asked to write in their profile about the last book they read and will also be able to search through the site’s other profiles for mentions of their favourite book. Penguin authors including Julia Llewellyn and Adele Parks will write articles for the site, as will’s relationship expert Kate Taylor.

…I think this is only available to the book lovers in the UK but I could be wrong…

According to the website,
